Antonia Lofaso
Antonia's Lofaso invites guests to look into her soul through her cuisine. Her food comes from her curiosity about the culture that is Los Angeles, which was inspired by a visit to Los Angeles from Long Island's suburbs. Carnitas and Cavatellis within the same menu is her belief. Every dish she serves is filled with her unique vision for the future, while also reminiscing about the old. Inspired by her Italian-American heritage Lofaso launched Scopa Italian Roots in 2013 that was immediately a hit. Lofaso has been praised by her fans for her rendition of traditional Italian dishes. Lofaso has been praised by a lot of people as a local restaurant that consistently serves dishes that are authentic, tasty and welcoming. Lofaso had been an apprentice of culinary experts, absorbing their techniques as well as taking risks. She did not hesitate to take risks to pursue her intuition. She swiftly rose up the ranks at Wolfgang Puck's Spago, and then went further to collaborate with celebrities in various Los Angeles kitchens. Lofaso created Black Market Liquor Bar with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi in Studio City, California. Lofaso found her place at Black Market, and through the alliances she made. Lofaso was able to finally experience the freedom of expression she had desired. Black Market does not have any one specific direction, that's the intention. The course could start with chips of dill potato and shishito peppers, followed by the lobster roll Korean wings and a succession of meatballs. Antonia is the linchpin of this dazzling variety. Throughout her career Lofaso has judged her accomplishment with her exceptional ability to connect with her viewers while staying true to her own personality. Her memorable performance on Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars highlighted her distinctiveness in the kitchen and her talents are still shining in front of the camera as an expert judge on CNBC's Restaurant Startup and recurring appearances on Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child as well as ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso joined forces in partnership with Penguin at the end of 2012 in order to publish The Busy Mom's Cookbook, 100 Recipes for Delicious home-cooked Meals. The book tells her story about her struggles going to her first French Culinary Institute and raising her daughter Xea. Lofaso states that her love for cooking is the driving force behind her achievements. She stays in the know through keeping a keen eye on trends and fashion. She is revolutionizing her industry's design by creating chef's wear to be functional and stylish, through her brand Chefletics. Lofaso is determined to stay true to the goals of her customers. She's created Antonia Lofaso Catering to help achieve that.
